Job Description
Our client is looking for a CNC Machinist. This role involves operating and setting up CNC milling machines to produce high-quality parts for the medical device industry. The company specializes in contract plastics manufacturing, utilizing thermoplastics to create precision components for healthcare applications.
As a CNC Machinist, you will be responsible for running production, reading blueprints, inspecting parts, and ensuring that machines are maintained properly for smooth operation. This is a great long-term opportunity for experienced machine operators seeking a stable, full-time position.
Work Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
Required Skills and Experience:
- Proven experience with operating or setting up CNC milling machines (minimum of 3 years)
- Ability to read blueprints and follow detailed instructions
- Experience with inspecting work using calipers, verniers, and micrometers
- Knowledge of basic machine preventive maintenance and equipment upkeep
