Our client located in beautiful Lebanon, NH, is seeking a dynamic Human Resources Manager to join their team on-site. This critical role will be responsible for leading the HR functions, including recruitment, benefits, payroll, employee relations, and compliance with company policies and external governing statutes and laws. The successful candidate will play a key part in the execution of the strategic plan, ensuring resource alignment in support of future growth goals while developing and driving the engagement and alignment culture.
As a Human Resources Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective recruitment strategies to attract top talent, managing the full recruitment lifecycle, and partnering with department managers to identify staffing needs and create job descriptions. You will also develop strong trusted partnerships with business leaders, acting as advisor and partner in the areas of organizational effectiveness, talent management, employee relations, performance and development coaching & counseling.
In addition to these responsibilities, you will act as a point of contact for employee concerns and issues, providing guidance and resolution in a timely manner. You will foster a positive and supportive work environment by promoting open communication and engagement initiatives, conduct investigations and manage conflict resolution as needed, and collaborate in managing training and training records.
You will also administer benefits, participate in the health and safety program, and administer payroll and compensation, including compliance with applicable wage and hour laws and regulations. You will administer all other HR policies and programs, recommend and implement revisions to policies, programs, and practices as needed, and ensure compliance with all federal statutes, laws, and regulations.
The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree and 5-10 years of human resource experience, along with 2-5 years of leadership experience. A SPHR or SHRM SCP designation is an asset, as is experience in a manufacturing environment. Strong understanding of HR legislative requirements/laws, excellent organizational, written, and oral communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills are strongly desired.
Ability to maintain professionalism and handle confidential information with discretion, self-direct and be results-driven, while maintaining a service-oriented approach are musts. This position will report to the Director of Human Resources.
Key Responsibilities: • Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract top talent
• Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, from job posting and interviewing to hiring and onboarding
• Partner with department managers to identify staffing needs and create job descriptions
• Develop strong trusted partnerships with business leaders, acting as advisor and partner in the areas of organizational effectiveness, talent management, employee relations, performance and development coaching & counseling
• Act as a point of contact for employee concerns and issues, providing guidance and resolution in a timely manner
• Foster a positive and supportive work environment by promoting open communication and engagement initiatives

• Manage payroll and compensation, including compliance with applicable wage and hour laws and regulations

• Ensure compliance with all federal statutes, laws, and regulations
• Manage the Affirmative Action Plan
• Manage the administration of the Federal Aviation Administration plan
• Maintain and enhance HR information systems (HRIS) and ensure data accuracy
• Implement and optimize HR technologies to streamline processes and improve efficiency
Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree
• 5-10 years of human resource experience
• 2-5 years of leadership experience
• SPHR or SHRM SCP designation an asset
• Experience in a manufacturing environment an asset
• Strong understanding of HR legislative requirements/laws
• Excellent organizational, written, and oral communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills

Schedule: Monday - Thursday: 9-hour days with every other Friday off.
Work Authorization/Security Clearance: Due to federal contract obligations, must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident
