Job Description
Our client, a globally recognized Upper Valley manufacturing facility, is looking for a Receiving Inspector to join their team on 1st shift (7am - 3pm M-F). Join a team that has been in business for more than 120 years and has become integral to keeping global industry in motion. Training is provided.
Overview:
Perform diversified receiving inspection duties to inspect all purchased components, parts, special assemblies, and other items used in the manufacturing of finished bearings or related items.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Set?up and use all related equipment and gauges to insure compliance to print.
- Perform & document required inspections per QPP (quality planning paper work).
- Perform & document first article inspections as required.
- Work closely with suppliers and Engineering to help resolve rejected component parts problems. May required travel to supplier’s facilities with Engineering, Quality and Purchasing to help inspect and/or train suppliers.
- Follow prescribed safety rules and regulations.
General Qualifications:
- Attention to detail, able to multi-task and coordinate work activities to be efficient & productive.
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Strong ability to follow written & prescribed work instructions/procedures & tasks.
- Follow all prescribed safety rules and regulations.
