Our client is looking for a Quality Control Inspection CMM Operator. Vishay, a leader in manufacturing a vast portfolio of discrete semiconductors and passive electronic components, plays a vital role in powering innovative designs across automotive, industrial, computing, consumer, telecommunications, military, aerospace, and medical markets. As part of their team, you will help ensure product quality and support on-time shipment by performing precision inspections and supporting quality initiatives.
In this role, you will be responsible for conducting dimensional and attribute inspections using CMMs, calipers, and micrometers, and updating reports according to customer specifications and industry standards. You will collaborate with engineering and quality teams to troubleshoot issues and support product verification processes.
Work Schedule:
Monday-Friday, with every other Friday off on a 9/80 schedule. Hours typically range from 6:00 AM to 3:30 PM or 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM.

Job Description

Required Skills, Education and Experience:
- Experience using calibrated measuring instruments, including hand tools and optical measurement equipment
- Ability to read and interpret a wide variety of customer prints and specifications
- Knowledge of GD&T principles and geometric dimensioning and tolerancing expertise
- Attention to detail in data collection and reporting results accurately
- Associates degree in a technical discipline (preferred)
- 1-2 years of experience in a quality assurance or inspection role
- Experience writing and updating CMM programs, preferably in VB/QVE (preferred)
- Familiarity with DISCUS, NETINPECT, or similar inspection software (preferred)
- Previous experience working in a cleanroom environment (preferred)
