Our client is looking for a Test Technician. This role offers the opportunity to work within a specialized environment that supports advanced military and aerospace systems. In this position, you will be responsible for setting up, calibrating, testing, and troubleshooting a variety of circuits, components, and mechanical assemblies used in high-tech defense and exploration projects. You will also develop skills in RF testing, mechanical alignment, and inspection, all while being mentored by experienced technicians. Your work will play a vital role in ensuring the performance and reliability of land vehicles, aircraft, and space systems.
In this role, you will be responsible for testing and tuning RF components such as filters, waveguides, and low noise amplifiers in X and Ku bands. You will perform manual assembly and rework on assemblies and systems as needed, utilizing network analyzers and other precise measurement tools. You will also develop test procedures from blueprints and diagrams, contributing to the overall quality and success of our mission-critical projects.

Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM - 3:30 PM, with a 9/80 schedule

- Experience with RF circuit testing, calibration, and troubleshooting using network analyzers
- Knowledge of mechanical assembly, alignment, and inspection processes
- Ability to interpret blueprints, drawings, and diagrams to develop test procedures
- Experience with manual assembly operations, including the use of epoxies and tuning components
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Prior experience working with waveguide and coaxial components is a plus
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Familiarity with high-frequency RF systems (X and Ku bands)
