Our client is looking for a High Voltage Test Technician. This company specializes in designing and manufacturing advanced photonics products, including high-voltage power supplies used across various demanding industrial and medical sectors. In this role, you will be primarily responsible for hands-on testing, troubleshooting, and burn-in of high-voltage power supplies to ensure they meet quality and safety standards. You’ll set up and operate high-voltage test equipment, conduct compliance and performance testing, and collaborate with engineering to analyze failures and improve products. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a strong background in high-voltage power systems who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.

Job Description
Our client is looking for a High Voltage Test Technician. This company specializes in designing and manufacturing advanced photonics products, including high-voltage power supplies used across various demanding industrial and medical sectors. In this role, you will be primarily responsible for hands-on testing, troubleshooting, and burn-in of high-voltage power supplies to ensure they meet quality and safety standards. You’ll set up and operate high-voltage test equipment, conduct compliance and performance testing, and collaborate with engineering to analyze failures and improve products. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a strong background in high-voltage power systems who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.
In this role, you will:
- Perform production testing, compliance testing, and burn-in of high-voltage power supplies
- Set up and operate oscilloscopes and high-voltage test equipment according to work instructions
- Troubleshoot product and test equipment issues involving high-voltage systems
- Evaluate customer returns and support failure analysis in collaboration with engineering
- Collect and document test data to support engineering analysis and product improvements
- Identify quality concerns and recommend test or process improvements
- Follow all high-voltage safety protocols, gowning, and EHS requirements
- Meet daily throughput requirements based on product complexity
Work Schedule:
Monday-Thursday, 5:00 AM - 3:30 PM
Required Skills, Education and Experience:
- Test Technician, Electronic Test Technician, or similar high-voltage testing experience
- Hands-on experience with high-voltage power supplies and systems
- Proficiency in setting up and operating oscilloscopes and high-voltage test equipment
- Strong troubleshooting skills involving high-voltage electronics
- Ability to evaluate and document test data accurately
- Knowledge of safety protocols related to high-voltage testing
