Job Description
Our client just recently moved into a large state of the art facility and is hiring Pipefitters with experience brazing on 1st shift. Hours are Monday-Thursday 6am to 4:30pm so you will have 3 day weekends every week if desired. Should you want to pick up OT, it is available on Fridays.
Pay Rate Range: $25 to $30/hr DOE
*On-site interview will include performing a basic brazing test *
In this role you will be responsible for both Installation & Fabrication assembling and installing piping systems according to blueprints, specifications, and building codes. This involves cutting, threading and fitting pipes using tools and machinery.
Seeking someone who can braze pipe joints with high precision, ensuring no leaks or structural weaknesses.
You should also have the ability to read and interpret mechanical and general arrangement drawings, schematics, and specifications to plan the sequence of pipe installations.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent; preference for those with a vocational degree or technical school training in pipefitting or related trades.
Certifications are nice to have: Brazing certification preferred, preferably with experience in handling HVAC gas systems or technical gas brazing.
EPA608 Universal Certification for handling refrigerants is nice to have

Preferred 1-2 years of experience in industrial pipefitting, with a focus on brazing
