Our client is looking for a QA Inspector with experience performing visual and mechanical inspection and test of electronic components.   This is a small office environment.  

This is a full-time on-site role as a QC Inspector.  Seeking someone who will perform quality assurance inspections of various electronic and microelectronic packaged components and finished products and creating detailed production plans.  Essentially Incoming Inspection of parts, that will then get shipped to the customer.

This position will be sitting at a desk working under a microscope most of the day.  They will be doing incoming inspection of the electronic components and then documenting them in a homegrown software application that will transition to SAP in 2026.  Small company, but growing in terms of revenue.  They will also use Quickbooks.
There is no testing or validation but they will review the test data that comes with the product.  
  • Inspect electronic components.
  • Input inspection data into spreadsheets.
  • Inspection overall visual features.
  • Understanding of Labeling requirements.
  • Inspection and copying data.
  • Completion of the final inspection checklist.
  • Able to detect counterfeit parts.
  • Receiving of parts into computer software system.
  • Maintaining stockroom and inventory.
  • Packing and invoicing parts.
  • Shipping and Logistics.
  • Audits of Inventory cycle count and support to Quickbook


Additionally, if they are not currently IPC certified, they will go to EPTAC in Manchester during their work shift, to be IPC certified in their name.  This is over a $1000 value in training.

 

Qualifications
  • Attention to detail
  • Experience inspecting electronic components, and ability to handle tiny, delicate parts.
  • Knowledge of Quality control standards and procedures
  • Experience in inspection methods and tools such as a microscope
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Effective communication and team work abilities
  • Quality assurance and IPC certifications are a plus (can be expired)
  • Proficiency in relevant software applications
  • Ability to interpret blueprints and technical documents
  • Experience with SAP preferred
  • Proficiency with Microsoft software products,  Excel specifically
  • Microscope and camera functions and experience required
  • MUST BE US PERSON FOR ITAR REGULATIONS
Ideally someone familiar with IPC, Mil-st-883, or J-Std-001
