Job Description
Our client is looking for a Field Service Technician. Join a company that specializes in producing innovative case-making machinery and has earned recognition for its commitment to quality and customer satisfaction. In this role, you will be responsible for providing technical support, maintenance, and repair services directly at customers' facilities or in the field. Your efforts will ensure that machinery operates smoothly and efficiently, supporting the company's reputation for reliability and excellence.
In this position, you will troubleshoot, install, and service industrial equipment, often traveling domestically and internationally to client sites. Your technical expertise will help keep machinery running at peak performance, while your communication skills will ensure clear updates and documentation.
Work Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM, with a minimum of 50% travel often requiring overnight stays of 5 days or longer.
Required Skills, Education, and Experience:
- Minimum 5 years of Field Service experience
- Engineering Degree (AS or BS preferred)
- Mechanical, Electrical, and Pneumatics assembly experience
- Wiring and troubleshooting industrial machinery
- Servo drive and motion programming experience (desirable)
- Strong Windows OS skills
- Clear written and verbal communication skills
- Sharp computer skills for documentation and reporting
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally
