Job Description
Our client is looking for a Facility Maintenance Technician to support their manufacturing operations within a leading provider of electronics manufacturing solutions. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the facility and production equipment operate safely and efficiently by performing routine inspections, troubleshooting mechanical systems, and executing necessary repairs. You’ll work with equipment such as SMT ovens, soldering machines, PLCs, and robotic systems, with opportunities to learn and develop expertise in diagnosing and repairing complex machinery in a high-tech manufacturing environment.
If you have experience troubleshooting hydraulics and pneumatics, interpreting schematics, and are familiar with manufacturing safety procedures like Lockout/Tagout, this could be the perfect fit. Your day-to-day tasks will include machine inspections, performing preventive maintenance, assisting with equipment installation and changeovers, and documenting repairs to optimize equipment performance. This position is ideal for candidates with 2–5 years of manufacturing experience and a technical background, looking for a long-term opportunity in a fast-growing industry.
Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM
Required Skills, Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree in Industrial Maintenance, Electronics, or a related technical field preferred
- 2–5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
- Troubleshooting hydraulics and pneumatics equipment
- Ability to interpret schematics and manuals for root cause analysis
- Knowledge of safety standards such as Lockout/Tagout procedures
