Our Client located in Lebanon, NH is seeking an Environment Health and Safety Coordinator.
The ideal candidate would be responsible for conducting studies on hazardous waste management projects and provide information on treatment and containment of hazardous waste, as well as air and water emissions. As well as coordinate the safe disposal of hazardous waste materials.
In addition, this person would plan and direct safety and health activities in industrial plant to evaluate and control environmental hazards. Inspect machinery, equipment, and working conditions in industrial or other setting to ensure compliance with occupational safety and health regulations. As well as, coordinate training activities for employees.
Most importantly would be responsible for planning, establishing, implementing, and maintaining a variety of occupational health, safety, environmental programs to assure the highest possible degree of safety for employees. Assures that our client complies with applicable federal and State health, safety and environmental laws, regulations and standards.
A BS Degree in Safety Engineering, Industrial Hygiene or Environmental Sciences, or in a related field is preferred.
