Our client is looking for a Shipper. They are an industry leader specializing in manufacturing a variety of parts for the defense industry. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating and executing outgoing shipments, receiving incoming shipments, inspecting for accuracy and damage, and ensuring all packages are properly labeled and scheduled for pickup. You will play a key role in maintaining efficient shipping operations and supporting the company's production needs.
Work Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM

Job Description

Work Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
Required Skills, Education and Experience:
- Experience using UPS and FedEx software for shipping and receiving
- Ability to inspect shipments for accuracy, damage, or shortages
- Strong attention to detail for verifying contents against shipping documents and purchase orders
- Ability to safely operate load-moving equipment
- Excellent organizational skills to prepare and label outgoing shipments accurately
- Knowledge of shipping procedures and ability to follow specific instructions
