Job Description
Our client is looking for Inspectors to support their 1st shift with Incoming Inspection.
Job Summary: As an Inspector, you'll be responsible for verifying procured materials, sub-assemblies, finished products, and processes to the company's Quality Standards. This includes visual inspection, dimensional measurement, and electrical testing to ensure conformance to established standards and specifications. You'll work independently with limited supervision, utilizing various inspection tools and equipment to document inspection and test results.
Essential Functions:
- Inspect, measure, and/or test materials to established methods and standards
- Utilize various inspection tools, such as Vision System, Verniers, Micrometers, Rulers, Oscilloscopes, DVMs, Power Supplies, Defib/Pacer Analyzers, and custom fixtures
- Document inspection and test results according to established procedures
- Maintain quality documentation files, such as Device History Records (DHR) and Inspection History Records
- Process returned material to established procedures
- Read and interpret documentation, including Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), schematics, technical drawings, PDAs, and ECOs
- Interface with other functions and departments as required
- Perform other duties as assigned
Skill Requirements:
- Good written and oral communication skills
- Ability to read specifications, procedures, and engineering drawings
- Familiarity with use of mechanical and electronic test equipment
- IPC-A-61OD for Incoming Inspection (preferred)
- Basic computer skills: Microsoft Office, Oracle, and MES
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Required/Preferred Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1 to 3 years’ experience in a related position
