Our client, an innovative manufacturing facility working on cutting edge medical devices is seeking an Engineering Technician to join their team on 1st shift (see below for hours). You will work as part of a dynamic team that manufactures exciting products that help people. The Engineering Technician provides direct support to the Production Operations and the Manufacturing Engineering teams. You will provide first-tier technical support to operations for manufacturing issues.

Hours:
1st Shift: Mon. – Thurs. 6am to 3: 30 pm / Friday 7am to 3: 30 pm with alternating Friday’s off. This is a 9/80 work-schedule.

Job Description
Our client, an innovative manufacturing facility working on cutting edge medical devices is seeking an Engineering Technician to join their team on 1st shift (see below for hours). You will work as part of a dynamic team that manufactures exciting products that help people. The Engineering Technician provides direct support to the Production Operations and the Manufacturing Engineering teams. You will provide first-tier technical support to operations for manufacturing issues.
Overview:
- Support and facilitate productivity and throughout improvement projects
- Perform hands-on failure analysis
- Work with engineering team resources to develop and implement process improvement projects
- Develop and fabricate simple manufacturing tools, fixtures, and devices
- Create and execute validation documentation, process work instructions, engineering studies and other technical writing
- Associates Degree in Engineering, or other technical field or relevant experience is preferred
- 1+ years’ experience in technical, hands-on problem-solving role
- Hands-on skills with electrical, mechanical, pneumatic or hardware troubleshooting
- Knowledge of CAD modeling with SolidWorks & LEAN/Six Sigma manufacturing preferred
