Job Description
Join our client, a forward-thinking manufacturing facility specializing in cutting-edge devices, as an Engineering Technician on the 1st shift. As a valuable member of the Manufacturing Engineering team, you will play a crucial role in providing hands-on technical support to Production Operations and Manufacturing Engineering teams in a clean-room environment.
In this role, you will:
- Support and drive productivity and improvement projects to meet process run rate targets
- Conduct hands-on failure analysis and investigation to address process nonconformities
- Collaborate with the engineering team to implement process improvement projects
- Design and fabricate manufacturing tools, fixtures, and devices
- Engage with vendors, suppliers, and internal team members on engineering projects
About You:
- Hold an Associates Degree in Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related technical field
- Have at least 1 year of experience in a technical, hands-on problem-solving role, preferably in a medical setting
- Possess hands-on skills in electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, or hardware troubleshooting
- Ability to interpret blueprints and drawings
- Familiarity with Lean principles and structured problem-solving tools
- Proficiency in basic data analysis and reporting
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
