Job Description


Our client is looking for a Power Supply Electronics Test Technician. This company specializes in designing and manufacturing power supplies for demanding military and high-reliability applications. In this role, you will be responsible for testing power supplies using various electronic test equipment, including oscilloscopes, digital multimeters, hi-pot testers, and electronic loads. You will work closely with schematics to troubleshoot, verify, and ensure the performance of power supplies in accordance with customer requirements. Your primary goal will be to accurately test and record data, helping ensure the delivery of high-quality products while supporting production schedules.

In this role, you will:
  • Test power supplies and analyze results using automatic test equipment and manual instruments
  • Troubleshoot circuitry down to the component level based on schematics
  • Record accurate test data and maintain legible records
  • Load and modify test programs on automated equipment as needed
  • Work flexibly to meet shipment deadlines and quality standards

Required Skills, Education and Experience:
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Experience with digital circuitry and testing power supplies
  • Ability to read schematics and troubleshoot circuitry at the component level
  • Proficiency with oscilloscopes, digital multimeters, electronic loads, and analog/digital circuitry sources
  • Basic understanding of Ohm's law for voltage, current, and resistance calculations
  • Strong attention to detail and accurate data recording
  • Ability to work flexible hours and be available for overtime as needed
  • Technical training in electronics is a plus; familiarity with automatic test equipment programming is helpful

Work Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM, with the ability to work overtime as required.
