Semiconductor Process Engineering Technician

Job Description


Our client is looking for a Process Engineering Technician - with semiconductor experience. This role supports manufacturing process development and continuous improvement initiatives by maintaining equipment, tracking process metrics, and assisting with process and equipment development. You will be integral in ensuring product yields and process capabilities meet high standards, working closely with Process and Product Engineers to support innovative manufacturing solutions.

In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining process documentation, verifying process yields, installing new equipment, and supporting process development projects. You will also assist in resolving internal and external customer issues and help ensure a safe working environment.

Work Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM

Required Skills, Education and Experience:
  • Associates degree in a technical field with manufacturing and process control experience (preferred: Bachelor's degree in optics, physics, chemical, or mechanical/manufacturing fields)
  • Quality System Training (SPCs, 8D’s, etc.)
  • Ability to read and interpret technical journals and respond to inquiries from internal and external customers
  • Fundamental knowledge of algebra, statistics, and manufacturing/quality measurement techniques
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and ERP software
  • Experience working near mechanical moving parts and handling moderate physical demands including lifting up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to operate in various environments and work conditions, including humid, cold, hot, or noisy settings
