Job Description
Our client is looking for One 1st Shift Electronics Quality Control Inspector. This company is a well-established leader in the electronics manufacturing services industry, supporting a wide range of sectors including aerospace, medical, industrial controls, and more. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that manufactured products meet strict quality standards by performing visual inspections and documentation, primarily focusing on PCB assemblies and component verification. You will perform first article inspections, identify defects, and verify compliance with customer specifications and IPC-A-610 standards to help maintain the company's reputation for quality.
In this role, you will be tasked with inspecting PCB assemblies and parts visually using microscopes, reading engineering drawings and tolerances, and documenting inspection results accurately. Your work will ensure that the production process adheres to the required standards and specifications, contributing to the overall quality of the final products.
Required Skills, Education, and Experience:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- At least 2 years of experience inspecting SMT and THT board assemblies with IPC acceptance criteria
- Ability to inspect assemblies visually using a microscope at 10-20X magnification
- Skilled in reading engineering drawings and interpreting tolerance specifications
- Experienced in component identification and verification
- Capable of documenting inspection findings thoroughly and accurately
- Proficient with inspection tools and measurement devices
- Good communication, computer, and analytical skills
- IPC-A-610 certification is desirable, but not mandatory
Work Schedule:
Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
