Job Description
Our client is looking for experienced Electro-Mechanical Assemblers to join their growing manufacturing team on 2nd shift.
This role involves assembling complex cable harnesses, connectors, and assemblies for industries such as aerospace and defense, in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
As an Electro-Mechanical Assembler, you will be responsible for performing cable assembly, bonding, molding, and conducting visual inspections using power and hand tools, while adhering to technical process sheets and blueprints. You'll also have the opportunity to learn soldering techniques and operate automated machinery, helping ensure the production of high-quality, durable multi-core cables designed for extreme environments.
Work Schedule: 2:00 PM to 12:30 AM - Monday through Thursday. Training on first shift from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, Monday through Friday.
Your day-to-day tasks will focus on assembling and inspecting cable harnesses, utilizing mechanical instruments, and following both verbal and written instructions to meet strict quality standards. This position is ideal for individuals with manufacturing experience, some assembly skills, and a desire to expand their technical knowledge within a leading electronic manufacturing organization recognized for its quality and innovation.
Required Skills, Education, and Experience:
- Manufacturing or assembly experience preferred, with flexibility on experience level
- Ability to use power and hand tools for mechanical assembly
- Comfort reading technical drawings, process sheets, and blueprints
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions precisely
- Interest in learning soldering techniques and operating automated equipment
- Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team
