Job Description
Our client is looking for an Electro-mechanical Assembler on 1st shift. This role offers an exciting opportunity for you to work on the electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic assembly of our case-making equipment, collaborating with engineering to improve assembly efficiency and ensure high-quality production. You will be part of a talented team where your skills and hands-on expertise will directly contribute to the company's operational success.
Work Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM (with some flexibility after training)
Required Skills, Education and Experience:
- Ability to efficiently read CAD drawings for parts and assemblies, ensuring accuracy and quality control
- Skilled with measuring equipment such as micrometers, calipers, tape measures, and dial indicators
- Knowledge of common assembly practices, including pressing bearings, drilling/tapping holes, reaming, leveling, and squaring assemblies
- Basic understanding of machine electrical wiring, air and water plumbing
- Proficient in using general hand tools like wrenches, sockets, Allen wrenches, and screwdrivers
- Experience with forklift operation and holding a training certificate (a plus)
- Ability to lift objects weighing more than 20 pounds and work on your feet all day
- Strong work ethic, self-motivated, detail-oriented, dependable, responsible, and honest
- Capable of interpreting complex wiring diagrams
- Solid understanding of electro-mechanical production equipment, pneumatic lines, wire harness installation, and assembly blueprints
- Knowledge of measuring tools, levels, how to square a metal frame, and familiarity with bearing presses, calipers, dial indicators, and multimeters is a bonus
