Job Description
Our client is a unique company, in a brand-new facility, building one-of-a-kind machinery. They are currently looking for an Electro-Mechanical Technician on 1st shift. In this prototype machine build position, you will utilize Bill of Materials and mechanical drawings to fabricate and assemble automated and robotic equipment used in manufacturing.
Overview:
- Assemble machined parts and actuators for mating with other components in larger sub-assemblies.
- Install cable, and plumb pneumatic and electric actuators with corresponding valve banks and controllers.
- Terminate electrical conductors in high and low voltage electrical enclosures.
- Incorporate conveyors, stepper motors, proximity sensors, and optical sensors into the overall function of the machinery.
- Applicant must have hands-on electrical and mechanical build experience
- Must be able to work from and follow blueprints, schematics, BOM's, written instructions, etc.
- High school diploma
