Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Electro-Mechanical Machine Assembly Technician with a strong background in mechanical and electrical assembly. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in machine assembly, fabrication, and the ability to work with various mechanical and electronic tools and instruments.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble and fabricate prototype machinery and capital equipment.
- Utilize mechanical tools and equipment, demonstrating basic machine shop skills, piping, tubing, fasteners, and metallurgy.
- Perform soldering and brazing with high precision and proven skills.
- Interpret and apply piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs) in assembly processes.
- Operate electrical and electronic tools such as Digital Multimeters (DMM), oscilloscopes, and other electrical meters (e.g., Ammeters).
- Collaborate with engineering teams to develop and improve assembly processes.
- Minimum of 7 years of related experience in electro-mechanical assembly.
- Proficient in mechanical tools and equipment with a solid understanding of machine shop practices.
- Demonstrated ability in soldering and brazing techniques.
- Experience with fabrication and development of prototype machinery.
- Familiarity with electrical and electronic instruments, including data acquisition systems.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Four, 10 hour days: Monday - Thursday 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM
