Job Description
Our client is looking for a Glass Seal Plater. This position involves performing electroplating processes to deposit precious metals on substrates, ensuring high-quality finishes for advanced technological applications. The role requires attention to detail, adherence to safety standards, and the ability to operate and monitor plating equipment effectively.
Work Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
Required Skills and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 3 years of electroplating experience, preferably with glass sealing processes
- Ability to work with chemicals such as Acetone and Trichloroethylene, as well as hot water and drying ovens
- Experience inspecting pins and understanding electrical parameters like Amps/Milliamps and square inches
- Ability to read and follow safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals
- Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity for handling equipment and materials
- Familiarity with lab equipment including atomic absorption spectrophotometers, titration, XRF, and microscopes
- Capacity to move materials using pumps, cranes, and lifting carts while maintaining safety standards
