Job Description
Our Client is currently seeking an experienced Electrical Assembly Technician to join our dynamic team.
Position Overview
The Electrical Assembly Technician will play a crucial role in the prototype and development of sub-assemblies for capital equipment. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in electrical assembly, testing, and troubleshooting, with a strong focus on supporting engineering teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the prototype and development board bring-up, evaluation, and troubleshooting.
- Perform routine electrical functionality tests and provide detailed data to responsible engineers.
- Conduct general PCBA development and test/troubleshooting down to component-level diagnostics.
- Solder components to IPC standards, ensuring high-quality assembly.
- Read and interpret schematics to support assembly and troubleshooting processes.
- Make basic component recommendations based on evaluation and testing outcomes.
- Work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining effective communication with the engineering team.
- Minimum of 7 years of related experience in electrical assembly and testing.
- Proficient in PCBA development and component-level diagnostics.
- Strong soldering skills in accordance with IPC standards.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite with strong written and oral communication skills.
- Self-motivated and able to work efficiently with little supervision.
- Four, 10 hour days Monday-Thursday 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM
