Calibration Technician - 1st Shift

This top-notch client in the local Merrimack Valley area was formed from a collaboration between a global leader in power conversion solutions and an established electronic test and assembly company.  And has evolved into one of the fastest growing providers of JAN certified semiconductors along with a full-service facility for the independent, unbiased testing. The company is currently looking to hire an Experienced Calibration Technician on its first shift with an outstanding pay rate. 

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Maintain calibration and preventative maintenance system as well as perform equipment calibration functions.
  • Perform Preventative maintenance functions such as vacuum pump oil changes and air filter charges.
  • Maintain necessary calibration and preventative records.
  • Executes all aspects of the calibration and PM system to insure proper operation and maximum up-time of various types of processing equipment with little or no supervision.
  • Coordinating the calibration of equipment that is contracted outside of the facility.
  • Calibration of equipment using internal standards.
  • This position is on-site position Mon-Fri from 7AM-3:30PM.  A More Than Competitive Pay Rate Range Depending On Experience.  Position is a possible temp to perm hire.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
  • High School Diploma preferred.
  • Technical education preferred in electronics, may be offset by experience

PREFERRED SKILLS
  • Able to work on multiple tasks and prioritize activities according to production needs.
  • Good written and verbal skills. Possesses good keyboard and computer skills.
  • Must demonstrate accuracy in work, attention to detail, adherence to a schedule, exceptional organizational skills and an orientation towards accountability.
  • Basic knowledge of database systems and how to access data.
  • Must be able to follow equipment calibration manuals and procedures.
  • Able to use a multimeter and oscilloscope.
  • Soldering skills a plus.

ADDITIONAL NOTES
  • Able to lift 50 lbs., sit, stand, and walk for extended periods.
