Job Description
Our Client is one of the world’s leading suppliers of interconnect products for Military, Commercial Aerospace and Industrial applications. They are now looking for a Cable Assembler to join their team!
Overview: We're seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Cable Assembler to work on our 1st shift team. As a Cable Assembler, you will play a critical role in assembling small components and cables for our clients' applications. If you have experience with assembling small components or cables, crimping, and following detailed instructions, we'd love to hear from you!
Required Skills:
• Recent experience with assembling small components or cables
• Experience with crimping and assembling cables (nice to have)
• Ability to read and follow instructions, diagrams, and customer-supplier prints
• Strong attention to detail and ability to inspect work for compliance to documented standards
• Proficiency with hand tools (e.g. cutters, wire strippers, screwdrivers, etc.)
Nice to Have Skills: • Experience with cable assembly and termination • Knowledge of electrical and telecommunications terminology
Preferred Education and Experience: • High school diploma or equivalent required • 1-2 years of experience in a manufacturing or assembly environment • Experience working with small components and cables
Other Requirements: • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production deadlines • Must be able to follow safety protocols and procedures • Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
