Job Description
Our client is looking for a CNC Machinist with Setup to join their team. This role involves performing basic CNC setups and machining operations on high-precision machines like HAAS, Mazak, and HCN 5000, often with minimal supervision. You will be responsible for loading materials such as aluminum, stainless steel, or carbon steel into the machines, and ensuring parts are cut accurately according to blueprints and specifications. The company is known for its commitment to quality and safety, operating state-of-the-art equipment in a clean and efficient environment.
In this role, you will handle tasks such as making standard set-ups, operating various CNC machinery, adjusting tooling and offsets, checking parts for quality, and maintaining equipment. You will also be expected to interpret engineering drawings, use precision measurement tools, and help instruct others when needed.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Experience with CNC machine set-up and operation, especially with HAAS, Mazak, or HCN 5000 machines
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
- Skilled in using precision measurement tools like micrometers and calipers
- Knowledge of CNC machining techniques and manual machining when necessary
- Familiarity with software such as Mastercam X19, SolidWorks, and Cimco editor
- Ability to perform routine maintenance and adjustments on machines
- Capable of handling materials including aluminum, stainless steel, and other metals
Work Schedule:
Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
