Job Description
Our client is looking for a CNC Machinist. This is an exciting opportunity to work for a stable, global supplier of specialty composite materials and fabricated products. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up and operating CNC mills and lathes, interpreting engineering drawings, performing precise machining tasks, and ensuring the highest quality standards. If you enjoy hands-on work and thrive in an independent environment, this could be the perfect fit for you!
You’ll be performing machining operations such as turning, milling, and drilling, all while maintaining strict quality controls. Your responsibilities will include interpreting complex drawings, performing mathematical calculations, inspecting parts, and troubleshooting technical issues with minimal supervision. You will also train and guide less experienced machinists and contribute to the team’s safety and productivity.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Proficiency with CNC machining operations
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical instructions
- Experience using precision measuring instruments
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to perform mathematical calculations independently
- Commitment to maintaining safety and quality standards
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or machining environment preferred
Work Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM
