Job Description
Our client is looking for a CNC Machine Operator to join their manufacturing team specializing in the optics industry. If you're experienced in operating CNC mills and lathes, have a strong attention to detail, and excel at reading and interpreting complex blueprints and engineering drawings, this role is perfect for you. In this position, you will be responsible for performing precise milling and turning work on small to mid-sized parts made from materials such as aluminum, titanium, and stainless steel. Your expertise in applying Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) standards, conducting quality inspections with micrometers, calipers, gauges, and optical comparators, will be crucial to ensuring the highest standards of part accuracy and quality. This role offers a collaborative work environment with a focus on safety and precision, on-site in Concord, with a pay range of $25.00 - $27.00 per hour.
Work Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Required Skills, Education and Experience:
- Proven experience operating CNC mills and lathes in a manufacturing environment
- Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings
- Knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) standards
- Experience performing quality inspections using micrometers, calipers, gauges, and optical comparators
- Understanding of shop safety protocols and maintaining a clean work area
