Job Description
Our client is looking for a CNC Operator. This role is key in a fast-paced manufacturing environment where you'll operate and set up Lathe machines to produce precision parts. You will interpret technical drawings, determine tooling needs, and establish machining sequences to ensure efficient and accurate production. The company is recognized for its commitment to accountability, collaboration, and empowering its team to innovate and improve processes.
In this position, you will be responsible for operating CNC machines to produce metallic and nonmetallic parts, troubleshooting machine issues, and maintaining high-quality standards. You’ll also track job times, support productivity initiatives, and uphold safety protocols on the shop floor.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Minimum of 8 years of CNC operation experience, including G-code programming
- Strong knowledge of metal cutting machine shop equipment and practices
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
- Basic math skills
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Experience with maintenance and troubleshooting of CNC equipment
Work Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
