For over 40 years our client has been advancing electronics technology. They are seeking an experience Buyer who has purchasing experience in the manufacturing industry for a 1-2 month contract.
Looking for someone who will purchase Direct and Indirect Materials, MRO and Services in support of the business
Someone familiar with reviewing MRP Orders and the ability to prepare RFQ's to Suppliers.
Should have demonstrated experience negotiating prices, payment terms and delivery schedules.

Experience and Qualifications
· Bachelor’s Degree and 3-5 years’ experience in manufacturing purchasing or equivalent combination
· A strong mechanical and technical aptitude
· Experience with risk assessments, scorecards, and quarterly business reviews
· Experience with Lean Tools, such as PFEP, DFT, KanBan Pull Management
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
· Excellent PC skills to include Visual ERP, MS office, (Advanced Excel user)
Occassional lifting up to 20 lbs may be required.
