Job Description
Our client is looking for a Box Build Assembly (Boxbuild Assembler).
In this role, you’ll build and assemble electromechanical products to exact specifications in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, helping ensure every unit meets strict quality and safety standards.
As a Boxbuild Assembler, you’ll read assembly drawings and production documentation, use hand tools and torque-controlled drivers, and complete visual verification tests according to written instructions.
If you’re wondering “What skills do I need for a Box Build Assembly job?”—you’ll need strong attention to detail, solid time management, comfort working with a variety of tools, and the ability to maintain ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) controls while handling sensitive components. Day-to-day, you’ll assemble upper-level and electromechanical subassemblies, verify workmanship, and properly maintain and set tools like torque wrenches to support consistent, high-quality builds.
Work Schedule
Monday–Thursday, 6:00 AM–4:30 PM (4x10s; Friday off)
What You’ll Do
- Read and follow assembly documentation, work instructions, and assembly drawings
- Assemble electromechanical and upper-level assemblies using hardware, hand tools, and drivers
- Perform visual verification testing per assembly instructions to confirm quality standards
- Set, check, and properly use torque wrenches and torque drivers to maintain accurate builds
- Maintain ESD controls and follow required safety and PPE guidelines
- Support other related production tasks as assigned
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong mechanical aptitude, will train how to read assembly drawings
- Hands-on experience using a variety of hand tools (including torque wrenches/drivers)
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in mechanical/electromechanical assembly work
- Ability to work effectively in a high-paced, sometimes stressful manufacturing environment
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Demonstrated reliability and willingness to learn a new skill
- Ability to sit for extended periods at a workbench and work on a computer as needed
- Ability to lift up to 15 lbs at times
- Must wear assigned PPE
