Job Description
Our Client in Wilmington is looking for an experienced Electro-mechanical Assembly Build Technician Monday-Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Working with the Project Engineer you would be performing assembly tasks such as build wiring harnesses according to diagrams, solder, crimp, and other electrical or electro-mechanical assembly tech. Must be an experienced assembler.
The Project Engineer is primarily looking for someone who has experience doing electrical and mechanical assembly tasks like:
- Hand crimping and soldering connectors (MIL spec, automotive, data communication)
- Building cable and wiring assemblies, ideally for automotive or marine applications
- Harness assembly, including splices, branching, sleeving, taping
- PCB rework (delicate surface mount or through hole components)
- Mechanical assembly work with hand tools
- Light fabrication work using drill press, band saw, hand drill, pneumatic press, taps
- Understanding of fastener types and sizes
