Job Description
Our client, an industry leading manufacturing company in the production of global defense forces, emergency responders and military defense equipment is actively seeking an experience Shipping and Receiving Group Lead. This is a first shift role with an excellent work/life balance. Our client offers excellent compensation and benefits.
As the Shipping and Receiving Group Lead you can expect to perform daily management of material handling, shipping, receiving, and data entry. Maintain and review records for accuracy and compliance, schedules work for special and periodic inventories, process customer and vendor returns, support the cycle count program to determine Root Cause and implement corrective action for discrepancies between inventory and stock control records.
The Shipping and Receiving Group Lead must be highly organized, able to multi-task, mentor, motivate and coach stockroom employees, have a pro-active approach to solving problems and implementing solutions. Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook, UPS Tracking World Ship Software, FedEx Ship Manager and MAPICS/INFOR a plus. Logistics experience in Import/Export and have at least 5 years of experience in Shipping and Receiving.
