Our client, located in Northern New Hampshire, is looking for a self-directed and self-motivated Quality Assurance Technician with a strong ability to identify and resolve problems.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Maintains the corrective and preventive action databases and follows up on all open action items.
  • Compiles quality assurance data, maintains the files and notebooks associated with these reports, and distributes them internally and externally.
  • Process and document customer returns, which includes direct customer interface.
  • Oversees, schedules, and organizes the Internal Audit Program.
  • Acts as the overall Audit Team Leader, formulates questions, meet with the individual audits teams, collects and reports the findings, and administers the database associated with this process.
  • Other duties may be assigned.

Qualifications:
  • To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
  • Articulate with measuring tools, equipment and techniques such as calibration, Statistical Process Controls (SPC) techniques, model based inspection, and use of coordinate measuring machine.
  • Skilled in performing incoming or source inspection of vendor supplied processes and/or materials.
  • Experienced with IS09000 or AS9100 based quality management systems.
  • Commendable communication skills, both verbal, and written.
  • Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite and File Maker Pro.

Education and/or Experience:
  • 3 years of Quality Assurance experience
  • College degree preferred but not required

Language Skills:
  • Command of the English language.

Mathematical Skills:
  • Ability to solve mathematical problems including fractions and decimals.

Reasoning Ability:
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general procedure manuals and understand technical products and concepts as they relate to the products and services that the organization produces.
