Our client has been designing, engineering and manufacturing machined parts for over 40 years. Their facility is exceptionally clean, specializing in precision cutting, 3 & 4 axis milling, CNC turning, deburring, to assembly and finishing. They are expanding their Quality Control Department and looking to fill a Quality Control Inspector.
Hours are Monday through Friday, 7:00am to 3:30pm.
As a Quality Inspector you will perform and document inspections of machined parts utilizing standard measuring tools, such as calipers, micrometers, height Gage, indicators, etc. The inspector conduct first article, in process, and final inspection of product.
If you have CMM operating (Mitutoyo) programming experience this would be a BIG plus.
This position requires basic knowledge to read and interpret engineering drawings. Good communication, reading, writing, and computer skills (capable of using Microsoft Excel). Must be able to inspect machined parts with tight tolerances utilizing Standard Measuring Instruments, such as calipers, micrometers, and other hand held Standard Metrology inspection tools.

- 5+ yrs quality inspection experience.
- Ability to read and interpret geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T).
- Perform and determine the best method of inspecting features.
- Ability to setup and use standard inspection equipment such as CMM, Micro-hite, micrometers, chamfer gages, thread gages, profilometer, pin gages, verniers, depth gages, etc.
