Job Description
Our client in Peabody is looking for a Material Handler who will work in a fast paced warehouse environment supporting their production floor which mkaes High Power and High Flex RF & Microwave connectors & cable assemblies
Responsibilities:
- An ideal candidate will have experience working in a warehouse.
- Receive items by accepting deliveries and unpacking incoming shipments.
- Verify items received by inspecting condition of items, comparing count/measure of times to purchase order, packing list or other records, and noting discrepancies.
- Issue materials to and pulls material from stock for work orders (raw material, cable, piece parts and connectors) as requested.
- Transfer items received by routing or deliver items to departments.
- Load and unload products.
- Maintain inventory information by documenting and updating records of parts issued.
- Ensure the quality and control of materials by storing parts in appropriate locations and containers.
- Ensure quality, assist in reducing costs and continuously improves productivity by accurately tracking job time through bar coding or other means.
- Prepare scrap metal for reclamation.
