Job Description
Our client is looking for a Category Manager. They are a leading provider of groundbreaking medical technology that supports circulatory and oxygenation needs. In this role, you will be responsible for leading sourcing initiatives, managing supplier relationships, and developing category strategies to drive cost savings and value creation in indirect procurement. You will also support new product development and ensure supplier compliance with regulatory and quality standards.
Work Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Required Skills, Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Finance, Operations, or a related field; MBA or MS preferred
- Minimum of 6 years of work experience in indirect procurement or strategic sourcing, preferably in healthcare
- Proven track record of developing and executing category strategies that deliver cost savings, mitigate risks, and improve supplier performance
- Strong understanding of sourcing processes, contract lifecycle management, and supplier governance across diverse indirect spend areas
- Experience managing RFx processes and supplier negotiations for medium to high complexity projects
- Ability to build and maintain strategic supplier relationships and conduct regular business reviews
- Knowledge of supply market trends, competitor activity, and industry best practices
