Our local client was formed from a collaboration between a global leader in power conversion solutions, and an established electronic test and assembly company. This company has evolved into one of the fastest growing providers of semiconductor and electronic components.
They are currently looking to hire an experienced IT Desktop Support Tech which is 100% onsite at its local Electronics Manufacturing facility in Lawrence, MA.
This is an aspiring mid-level IT Helpdesk position with primary responsibility to provide desktop support to end-users.
The IT Desktop Support Tech will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and use of desktop technology and for the purchase and installation of hardware and software.
The position requires a high level of customer service.
May be assigned to small projects or to phase(s) of larger projects outside of Primary IT Responsibilities.
Position is 100% on-site Monday - Friday from 7AM - 3:30PM.
Desired Qualifications and Experience:
• Active Directory – managing active base of computers and users as needed
• Hardware & OS Troubleshooting skills
• IT Ticket System – provide day-to-day desktop and conference room support
• PXE Boot imaging system – or any other imaging system
• Microsoft Office 365 support experience
• Nice to have but will train on Bitlocker experience
• Scripting common tasks in PowerShell
• Windows software deployment knowledge
• PC hardware troubleshooting
• Nice to have – basic networking connectivity
• Troubleshooting Outlook with Exchange
• High quality customer service skills
• 2-year associate degree or equivalent work experience
Beneficial if knowledge of any of the following application packages:
• Windows Active Directory/Domain Services
• SQL
• MS Office
• Adobe Acrobat
• Minitab
• Infor – Syteline
• VEEAM
• Fortinet
