Engineering Technician - 1st Shift

Our client in Southern New Hampshire is seeking an Engineering Technician to support their systems group. In this role you will support engineering with requests from schematics, diagrams, written and verbal descriptions to test and trouble shoot designed devices and various applications. Applications may include analog, digital and logic systems. Uses manufacturing, test, development or diagnostic electronic equipment, including, but not limited to, test programs, use signal generators and specialized test apparatus. Will build test fixtures, work with oscilloscopes, digital volt meters, schematics, cabling, surface mount soldering (basic skills not a high focus of the job) Will use custom written software to control the test equipment and collect the data. Works on the standardization of lab procedures to improve data collection. Write reports after initial data analysis using tools from MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Powerpoint & Visio) Works on assignments requiring considerable judgment and initiative.
Requirements: Associate’ s degree in Electrical Engineering. Familiar with basic electrical analog and digital circuits. Basic knowledge of real time and frequency domain. Basic knowledge of physics. Experience with test programs, use signal generators and specialized test apparatus. Will build test fixtures, work with oscilloscopes, digital volt meters, schematics, cabling, surface mount soldering (basic skills not a high focus of the job)
