Overview
Join a leading aerospace company as a CMM Mechanical Inspector with programming expertise. You'll create and troubleshoot CMM programs while performing precision inspections to ensure product conformity.
Key Responsibilities
- Program, validate and troubleshoot CMM/vision systems using GD&T principles
- Perform precision inspections including First Article Inspections (FAIs)
- Support Engineering with metrology expertise, including early drawing reviews
- Resolve technical questions from operators, inspectors, and engineers
- Work with Quality Engineering to verify program accuracy
- Lead tooling fixture and gauge projects
- Implement efficiency improvements using Lean Manufacturing principles
- Advanced knowledge of metrology programs and GD&T
- CMM programming skills/training
- Experience in manufacturing environment with precision part inspection
- Proficiency with inspection equipment and tools
- Knowledge of ERP systems
- Strong attention to detail and multitasking abilities
- Good communication skills and Microsoft Office proficiency
